Community Partnership Coordinator

Purpose of the Role:

The Community Partnership Coordinator will develop and strengthen relationships with organizations across the Twin Cities metro, including healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, and social service agencies. The role aims to enhance Minnesota Mental Health Clinic’s (MMHC) visibility, improve referral pathways, and explore collaborative opportunities that align with the organization’s strategic goals. Each Community Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for a defined geographic region within the twin cities metro.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outreach and Relationship Building:
  • Identify key organizations and stakeholders in the Twin Cities metro for potential partnerships.
  • Conduct outreach through meetings, events, and other networking opportunities.
  1. Partnership Development:
  • Establish referral pathways between MMHC and partnering organizations.
  • Collaborate on initiatives that address community mental health needs, such as workshops, awareness campaigns, or joint programs.
  1. Communication and Representation:
  • Represent MMHC at community events and professional gatherings.
  • Share MMHC’s mission, services, and expertise to foster awareness and trust.
  1. Tracking and Reporting:
  • Maintain a database of partnerships and engagements.
  • Provide regular reports on outreach activities and outcomes to MMHC leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program or similar graduate program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Interest in mental health, healthcare operations, or community engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage flexible hours.

Details:

  • Hours: 10 hours per week, with flexibility around class schedules.
  • Duration: Academic school year, with the potential to extend into summer or transition to other roles within MMHC.
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly wage.
