In my practice, I am committed to fostering collaborative and trusting relationships through telehealth to help you navigate life transitions, overcome challenges, achieve goals and bolster resilience. My approach is deeply empathetic and trauma-informed, backed by extensive training and experience in areas that include addictions recovery (harm reduction and abstinence-based) and research. I create a nonjudgmental space where you can freely express needs and feelings, and invite you to share your cultural background, interests, and passions. As an adoptive parent in a transracial/transcultural family, and hailing from an extended immigrant background, I bring a deep understanding of diverse identities and experiences. As an ally, I welcome LGBTQIA+ clients including those exploring gender identity or transitioning. I enjoy collaborating with immigrants, first-gen learners, and those for whom English is not their first language. A daughter and sister of veterans, I provide tailored support to military connected individuals. In our sessions, I use evidence-based therapies such as Motivational Interviewing, Relational-Cultural Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy, and integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques.
