Did you know?
25% of people experience burnout by the time they turn 30.
Even more concerning is that the age decreases for younger generations. Averaging at 25 years old.
So what can you do?
Prioritize your sleep (ideally 7-9 hours per night), eating a balanced diet (some foods are good for your body and others are good for your soul), and adding movement into your routine.
Aside from adjusting your lifestyle, it’s important to make time for yourself outside of that. Missing one of your hobbies or want to try something new? Do it! Prioritizing yourself will allow to reset and feel refreshed.
Confide in someone you trust. That might be family, friends, or a therapist. Having a quality support system will decrease your chance of burnout.
And don't wait. Take action early.
It's easy to brush off early signs of burnout, hoping the stressors will improve, but taking steps to prevent burnout, like self-care, can make a significant difference in your day-to-day life.
