Fellows work closely with senior leaders, including the CEO, and lead high-impact projects while receiving mentorship, leadership coaching, and professional development opportunities. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, real-world contributions, and career growth, with many fellows transitioning into full-time roles at MMHC after completion.

Administrative Residency

The Administrative Residency at Minnesota Mental Health Clinics is a hands-on summer program for graduate students in healthcare management, offering immersive experience in mental health operations, strategy, and leadership. Residents work on high-impact projects across domains like strategic planning, client experience, financial analysis, and community partnerships, while receiving mentorship, executive exposure, and professional development. The program is designed to cultivate leadership readiness and often serves as a pathway to MMHC’s Administrative Fellowship or long-term roles within the organization.

Psychological Assessment Post-Doctoral Fellowship

The Psychological Assessment Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Minnesota Mental Health Clinics is a 12-month, full-time program offering 2,000 supervised hours focused on comprehensive psychological testing and collaborative care. Fellows conduct assessments for clients aged 6 and up, engage in diagnostic interviews, write integrated reports, and provide feedback and follow-up support, all while receiving mentorship and participating in practicum student training. The program emphasizes a client-centered, culturally responsive approach and offers flexibility in scheduling, interdisciplinary collaboration, and dedicated time for licensure preparation.

Psychology Assessment Practicum

The Psychology Assessment Practicum at Minnesota Mental Health Clinics is a year-long, hands-on training program for Clinical and Counseling PsyD students focused on psychological assessment and diagnostic excellence. It includes a structured onboarding process, weekly testing cases, supervision, and didactic training, with opportunities to work with diverse assessment tools and provide therapeutic feedback to clients and caregivers. Practicum participants gain foundational clinical skills, preparing them for internships, postdoctoral placements, and potential career opportunities at MMHC.
