Job Description:
Minnesota Mental Health Clinics is excited to welcome a Perinatal/Women’s Mental Health Therapist to our practice. This role provides individual and couples therapy for clients experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), birth trauma, pregnancy loss, and other reproductive-related mental health concerns. Therapists in this role use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, collaborate with prescribers and medical providers to ensure integrated care, and contribute to program development and community outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and couples therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
- Administer and interpret screening tools relevant to perinatal and reproductive mental health.
- Collaborate with prescribers, medical providers, and other staff to deliver coordinated, client-centered care.
- Participate in program development and community outreach efforts related to perinatal and women’s mental health.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation with attention to compliance and quality standards.
- Support clients in accessing additional resources as needed (e.g., support groups, medical providers, community services).
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a mental health field and active licensure in Minnesota (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent).
- Experience working with perinatal or women’s mental health populations.
- Training or experience in trauma-informed care (ART, EMDR, or other trauma-specific modalities preferred).
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices in treating PMADs, trauma, and related conditions.

Pay: $72,000-$90,000
