Brigit has 10+ years of experience working with clients presenting a wide range of therapeutic needs, and enjoys working with both adolescents and adults.  Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).  Brigit is trained to practice EMDR and is currently working towards full EMDR certification.  Brigit believes in empowering clients to achieve positive change by providing a safe space and an unconditionally supportive therapeutic relationship.  She also knows that maintaining a solution-focused, strengths-based approach is crucial in order for clients to get the support they need, and to allow for effective problem-solving.  Brigit loves fostering her clients’ individuality, creativity, and confidence to work towards their goals.
