Position Summary
Minnesota Mental Health Clinics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for clients while also collaborating with psychiatry and therapy teams.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care:
Responsible for the successful delivery of production, quality, and client experience goals for a team of psychiatric service providers.
Provide direct psychiatric care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
Maintain a part-time caseload with a focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Collaborate closely with therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and care navigators to ensure integrated care.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and health promotion strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nursing program.
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Minnesota.
Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Preferred: At least 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Preferred: experience in managing care in SPMI, trauma, neurodivergence and/or women's health patient populations.
Knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric practices and psychopharmacology.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with electronic health records and comfort using healthcare technologies.
