- Your family is facing conflict, transitions, or strain that's affecting your kids

What to expect
A clear path to getting started.
Parent/guardian intake call
An Intake Coordinator talks with the parent or guardian first β what's going on, what you've tried, what you're hoping for. We use this to match your child with the right clinician.
First session with your child
Depending on age, the first session may be just your child, just the parent, or both together. The clinician's job is to build trust β kids open up at their own pace.
Care plan tailored to age & need
Younger kids often do play therapy or family therapy; teens usually do individual talk therapy. We'll loop in psychiatry, assessment, or skills groups as needed β all under one roof.
Family stays involved
Parents and guardians get periodic check-ins and skills coaching. Kids do best when the adults around them are part of the work, not just watching from outside.

Common questions
Frequently asked
How young will you see kids?
We see children as young as 4 for play therapy and family work, and across all ages for assessments and psychiatry. The right service depends on your child's age and what's going on β the Intake Coordinator will walk you through fit.
Does my teen need to want therapy for it to work?
It helps, but it's not a deal-breaker. Many teens come in reluctant and warm up after a few sessions once they trust their clinician. If your teen is actively refusing, talk with us β sometimes a different format (a parent session, a group) is the better starting point.
Will I (the parent) be in the room?
Depends on age and goals. Younger kids almost always have parents involved. Teens typically meet with their clinician alone with periodic family sessions. Either way, parents get regular check-ins on progress and ways to support the work at home β without breaking your child's confidentiality on session details.
Can my child see a psychiatrist here too?
Yes. Several of our psychiatrists specialize in pediatric and adolescent care, including ADHD, ASD, and complex developmental conditions. We can coordinate therapy and medication in one practice, which spares the family from playing telephone between providers.
What if we need an ADHD or autism assessment?
We do those on-site. Our Center for Diagnostic Evaluation (CDE) provides comprehensive ADHD, autism, and psychological assessments for kids and teens. Results come with a clear written report and recommendations you can use with school, your pediatrician, or our own team.
