Q&A
What was your path to becoming a mental health professional?
I started out as a nurse in the community setting with a strong focus on public health.
What should clients expect when working with you?
They should expect to be treated wtih dignity, understanding, and caring. I meet people where they are and work with them to come up with solutions that may help them.
If you could be doing anything else, what would it be?
I started out as an art major, then switched to criminal justice major, and then landed on nursing. I can't really imagine a career that I would enjoy more but, a career that involves scuba diving might be a close second.
