Q&A

What was your path to becoming a mental health professional?

For as long as I can remember, I was intrigued with how people felt, thought, and interacted with one another. This curiosity led me to become a licensed social worker and then ultimately a therapist. I love what I do and enjoy helping client arrive to their own epiphanies.

What should clients expect when working with you?

Clients can expect to have a personalized experience that models respect with particular attention paid to their own pace and goals. Checking for consent while honoring people's trauma history will be implemented during each session and clients will be given information about interventions before these are performed.

If you could be doing anything else, what would it be?

My second love is food. I have always wanted to find a way to blend both my joy of cooking with therapy as I believe food helps open the soul.
