Q&A

What was your path to becoming a mental health professional?

I've always had a passion for working with people. While working in employment services, I became aware of the lack of priority on mental health and the importance of access for all. While in graduate school, I discovered my love for providing psychotherapy for children and individuals and have been working in outpatient therapy ever since.

What should clients expect when working with you?

I view therapy as a collaborative process where you are the expert of your life and circumstances, and I am a non-biased person here to help you process, make sense of your experiences, and heal wounds. I use a trauma informed lens and a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet you where you are at.

If you could be doing anything else, what would it be?

I love to travel. If I weren't a therapist I would be a travel agent so I could get paid to see the world.
