Q&A

What was your path to becoming a mental health professional?

At every stage of my life, I have found myself so drawn to people's stories about their lives and the power of healing relationships. I long dreamed of becoming a therapist, and I consider the opportunity to be one an enormous privilege. Being able to accompany others in their journeys is one of my life's great joys.

What should clients expect when working with you?

I bring an attitude of curiosity and collaboration to our work together toward your goals. I begin with giving you a space to feel deeply heard as you explore your thoughts and feelings. I will work with you as we grow together in better understanding the underlying patterns beneath your experiences.

If you could be doing anything else, what would it be?

In addition to my training as a therapist, I also have a graduate degree in the study of contemplative practices, focusing especially on Buddhist meditation. I have a strong interest in how these practices can help support our living with greater release and peace regardless of the conditions we live in.
