Q&A

What was your path to becoming a mental health professional?

I've always been fascinated by the motivations driving human behavior. I remain in awe of the impact of our interpretations on our interactions with the world, and on emotional health. As a psychologist, I can dig deeper into these aspects of functioning to help people live better.

What should clients expect when working with you?

I try to create a therapeutic space that is relaxed and collaborative- I don't like stuffy, formal interactions myself, and so I try to foster non-judgmental discussion and problem-solving within a genuine and supportive conversation.

If you could be doing anything else, what would it be?

I would be a full-time artist, painting away in my studio, and weaving on my loom(s).
