What was your path to becoming a mental health professional?
I began my career in medicine as a surgical technologist in the military and later pursued nursing, starting in the ICU. After realizing my passion for mental health, I transitioned to working for many years in the inpatient psychiatry setting before becoming a PMHNP.
What should clients expect when working with you?
I aim to provide an authentic, collaborative approach focused on truly understanding each individual's story and life context. I value shared decision-making to create thoughtful goals that support meaningful and sustainable progress.
If you could be doing anything else, what would it be?
I enjoy attending live concerts, reading, and going for walks. If I were to pursue a dream job outside the mental health field, it would be something creative, like an arcade game tester.
